Matt Shumway
Matt Shumway is a PhD student in Computing and Data Sciences at Boston University. He is broadly interested in sequential decision-making, with a focus on developing sample-efficient reinforcement learning algorithms. He received his bachelor’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Brigham Young University where he researched non-backtracking random walks on graphs.
Yuqi Tu
Yuqi Tu is an incoming PhD student at Boston University’s Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences. She recently received her B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of statistics and machine learning.
